I’m Daniele Gennaro, a destination wedding photographer based in Locorotondo, in the heart of Valle d’Itria. I photograph weddings across Puglia, including Salento and the Bari area, and travel throughout Italy and worldwide. Locorotondo is my base, rather than a limit on where I work. Whether your plans centre on Valle d’Itria, a venue in Salento or the Bari area, tell me where each part of the day will take place. Ceremony, preparations and reception may be in different locations: understanding those distances helps us plan time for photographs without taking you away from your celebration for longer than you want.
Editorial portraits and a documentary sensibility
My work brings together attention to light, composition and the people in front of me. I follow spontaneous moments and offer direction when portraits call for it. You do not need to arrive with a set of poses. We can discuss the photographs you are drawn to, the people who matter to you and the balance between portraits and the life of your wedding day.
The stories in this portfolio include bridal and couple editorials photographed in Tenerife. They show my approach to movement, portraiture and light; they are identified as editorial projects, rather than presented as weddings photographed in Puglia.
Planning your photography from abroad
Start by sharing your wedding date, the venue or area you are considering, the days you would like photographed and any plans already in place. If you are working with a wedding planner, include their contact details when you are ready to introduce us. We can then discuss availability, photography coverage and travel arrangements before you confirm.
For a celebration across several days, let me know which moments you are thinking about, such as a welcome gathering or the wedding itself. Coverage and availability are agreed individually. Travel and any additional services are set out in your proposal.

Are you based in Puglia?
Yes. I am based in Locorotondo, Valle d’Itria, and available across Puglia, including Salento and the Bari area, throughout Italy and worldwide.
Can we plan the photography before arriving in Italy?
Yes. You can begin by email with your date, venue and ideas. We can discuss the practical details and the photographs you want before your arrival.
Do you photograph weddings outside Valle d’Itria?
Yes. My base is Locorotondo, and I travel for weddings in Salento, the Bari area, elsewhere in Italy and worldwide. The proposal includes the travel arrangements relevant to your location.
