A place can set the atmosphere of a wedding. The photographs become personal through the people who fill it: the way you move together, the friends who have travelled to be there, the quiet before the ceremony and everything that happens between the plans.
I’m Daniele Gennaro, a destination wedding photographer based in Locorotondo, Puglia, and available throughout Italy and worldwide. My approach draws on editorial portraiture, reportage and a cinematic sense of light and movement. I follow what unfolds and offer direction when a portrait needs it, making space for photographs without asking you to spend the day performing for the camera.

Start with the celebration you imagine
Your first enquiry can be simple: your names, wedding date, venue or region, where you are travelling from, and which days you would like photographed. If your venue is still undecided, tell me what you know so far. Availability and a photography proposal can then be discussed around the plans that are taking shape.
One destination, several places
Preparations, ceremony and reception may happen in different locations. Share those addresses once they are confirmed, along with the outline of your day. We can consider travel time, when portraits could fit and the people you want to have close, rather than building the schedule around an uninterrupted photo session.
A wedding day or a longer gathering
If your guests are travelling for a welcome evening, wedding day or another gathering, include the dates and events you are considering. Coverage across several days is discussed individually and depends on availability. The proposal sets out what is included and any travel or accommodation arrangements before you decide.
Working alongside your wedding planner
If a planner is helping you organise your wedding in Italy, you can introduce us when you are ready. Sharing the same schedule and priorities helps make room for photography within the celebration. You can also enquire directly; having a planner is not a requirement.

My base is Locorotondo in Valle d’Itria, with availability across Puglia, including Salento and the Bari area. I also travel throughout Italy. Whether you are considering Tuscany, Lake Como, the Amalfi Coast, Rome, Sicily or another destination, send your venue and dates so I can assess availability and the travel involved. Travel is arranged around your chosen venue and the scope of your celebration.

Are you based in Italy?
Yes. I am based in Locorotondo, Puglia, in southern Italy, and available for destination weddings throughout Italy and worldwide.
Can we organise the photography from abroad?
Yes. Start by email with your date, destination and ideas. We can discuss coverage and practical details before you arrive in Italy. If you already have a planner, include them when you are ready.
Do you travel outside Puglia?
Yes. Tell me the region or venue and your dates. Travel and any accommodation requirements are assessed for your plans and set out in the proposal.
Do you provide a fixed package for every wedding?
Coverage and additional services are discussed individually, according to the dates, locations and events you want photographed. Ask for a proposal based on your own celebration.
What should our first message include?
