I’m Daniele.

I’ve never stopped searching.
I’m Daniele, a photographer from Calabria, based in Locorotondo, Puglia since 2026. My work spans fashion, reportage and events, with a cinematic sensibility and an editorial approach that keeps evolving. I photograph throughout Italy and worldwide.

01 / Where it all began
A camera.
A way to breathe.
At sixteen.
The first time I picked up a camera, I was looking for an outlet. I found a language. A way to give shape to what I felt, to pause and look, and to find myself within an image. That’s how I fell in love with photography.
Then came the studying: the masters of the past, the explorations of today, the techniques and different ways of making a photograph. I still study, every day. The curiosity that led me to begin is what keeps me searching: I know I’ll never stop learning.
02 / My roots
My first story
was home.
Calabria · Reportage · Cinema
I’m from Calabria, and for years I photographed home, trying to tell its story. Returning to the same places taught me that knowing something doesn’t mean you’ve finished looking: there is always a detail, a person or a light still to discover.
I explored that story through filmmaking too. Moving images gave me room to experiment with rhythm, anticipation and the connection between one scene and the next. A more cinematic language that stays with me even when I take a single photograph.
Reportage later took me through Asia, Africa and Europe. I brought home other ways of seeing, which now intertwine with almost ten years of experience in wedding photography.
03 / A new chapter
Puglia.
A new exploration.
Since 2026.
I arrived in Puglia in 2026. Here I’m developing my editorial voice, continuing to explore light, contrast and the direction of an image, while leaving room for what unfolds in front of the camera.
Across fashion, reportage and events, my work has appeared on PhotoVogue and Iconic. These are milestones in a journey that remains open, continuing to change as I do.
Every story I photograph carries a little of all this: my roots, travels, studies and the wish to find an image in which someone can recognise themselves.

Alongside a natural approach, I explore light and the use of flash. I enjoy creating photographs with an editorial character, bold contrasts and a care for composition shaped by fashion.
